What to send us
You can start with very little. These three things let us give a useful first answer, and you can add the manuscript later.
The manuscript basics
Your working title, the abstract or a short summary of the study, your research field, and the stage the paper has reached: idea, draft, finished, under review or in revision.
Where you want to publish
Target journals if you have them, or the index you need, such as Scopus, Web of Science or PubMed, and any institutional rule such as a quartile. If you do not know yet, say so. That is a normal place to start.
Your timing
The date that matters, such as a graduation deadline, promotion round, funder report or reviewer deadline, and whether that date can move.
What happens after you write
- We read what you send and may ask a few clarifying questions.
- For a proper review we may ask for the manuscript, or a sample, to be sent confidentially.
- We reply with our view of the next step and, where it fits, a written scope and price.
- Nothing starts until you have agreed the scope. See how we scope and quote and the stages of our process.
How quickly we reply
We reply by email or WhatsApp as soon as we can, but we cannot promise an exact reply time because it depends on the number of enquiries. We are based in London, so time differences may affect when you hear from us. If your deadline is within days, put it in the first line of your message.
Which channel to use
- Email for your abstract, manuscript files and longer questions
- WhatsApp or phone for quick questions about whether we can help
- The form on this page if you prefer to give your details in one place
What not to include in a first message
- Passwords or payment card details
- Patient-identifiable or participant-identifiable data
- Full datasets, unless we have asked for them
If you are comparing options
Our FAQ answers common questions about fees, guarantees and confidentiality, and the about page explains who we are and what we will not do.
