Journal Submission Support Service
Hand over the submission preparation, keep control of the paper. We get your manuscript, files, declarations and cover letter ready for the journal you have chosen, and nothing goes in without your written approval.
Our journal submission support service is for researchers who have a finished manuscript and a target journal, and want the submission itself prepared properly: formatted to the journal's rules, with complete files, correct declarations and a clear cover letter. You keep ownership of the paper and the account, and you remain corresponding author. Publish With Scopus is an independent UK consultancy. We are not a publisher or a journal, we have no affiliation with Scopus or Elsevier, and we do not guarantee acceptance or indexing.
If you would rather do it yourself, our manuscript submission guidance walks through the checklist step by step. This page describes the service where we do the preparation with you.
What the service includes
- Guideline check. We read the journal's instructions for authors and list everything the submission needs, from word limits and section order to reference style and file types.
- Manuscript formatting. Headings, abstract structure, keywords, reference style, figure and table placement, and title page, set to the journal's requirements.
- Figures, tables and supplementary files. Checked against the stated formats, resolution and labelling, and named the way the portal expects.
- Declarations and statements. Help drafting author contributions, conflicts of interest, funding, ethics approval, data availability and AI-use statements from the information you give us.
- Cover letter. A concise letter to the editor explaining what the paper contributes and why it fits the journal.
- Portal checklist. A list of the fields, metadata and uploads the submission system will ask for, so entering them takes minutes rather than an evening.
- Revision round support. If the paper comes back for revision, we can help with the response to reviewers and the resubmission files.
What we will not do
We will not submit under our own account, become corresponding author, contact editors on your behalf, or submit anything you have not approved in writing. We do not change your results or add authors. We do not guarantee acceptance, a decision date or indexing, because journals and databases decide those.
How it works
- Send the essentials. The manuscript, the target journal, your co-author details and any deadline.
- Written scope before work starts. We confirm what is included, the price and the timeline in writing.
- Tracked-changes delivery. Changes to the manuscript come back as tracked changes, with the other files and the portal checklist.
- Your written approval. You and your co-authors review everything. Nothing is submitted without your written approval.
- You submit as corresponding author. The journal account and all correspondence stay with you.
Who this suits
The service suits researchers whose paper is scientifically ready but who are short on time, are submitting to a journal with demanding formatting, are resubmitting to a new journal after a rejection, or have been returned at the technical check before. If you are not yet sure the paper is ready, or which journal to choose, start with an assessment instead. Our wider research paper publication consultancy covers that earlier stage.
What to send us
The manuscript in an editable format, the target journal's name or link, figures and tables in their original files, any supplementary material, author names, affiliations and ORCID iDs, funding and ethics details, and any earlier reviewer comments if this is a resubmission.

Frequently asked questions
What is a journal submission support service?
A service that prepares your manuscript and submission files to a specific journal's requirements, so the paper is complete when it reaches the editor. You remain the author and corresponding author.
Do you submit the paper for me?
No. You submit from your own account as corresponding author. We prepare the files and a portal checklist, and nothing is submitted without your written approval.
Can you choose the journal as well?
Journal selection is a separate step. If you have not chosen a journal yet, ask for an assessment first, and verify indexing on official sources before you decide.
Does submission support improve my chance of acceptance?
It reduces avoidable technical returns and presentation problems. It cannot change the science, and we do not guarantee acceptance or indexing.
How is the price set?
We quote after seeing the manuscript and the journal's requirements, and confirm it in a written scope before work starts.
Can you help if the journal asks for revisions?
Yes. We can help plan and draft the response to reviewers and prepare the revised files, again with your approval at each step.
Important answers
Do you guarantee acceptance or Scopus indexing?
No. Journals and indexes decide. We help with readiness, selection, submission preparation, and reviewer responses in an ethical way.
Are you a journal or publisher?
No. We are a UK-registered consultancy based in London.
Who is this for?
Professors, doctors and clinician-researchers, and PhD researchers who want practical, ethical support.
How should indexing claims be checked?
Use official sources and the publisher’s own pages. Social graphics are not enough.
